No Man Cared For My Soul

I: “No Man Cared for My Soul.”
1. Would this be the despairing cry of people we know?
2. What personal evidence does the last person have that some Christian cares for his soul?
3. How many of our family and friends know from our action and words that we are concerned?
4. The man at the pool of Bethesda said, “I have no one to help me.” John 5:7
5. If no man cared for the spiritual welfare of men, it would be a hopeless pause.
6. Some by profession and action say NO! Pleasure, crowd, money, booze, cold churches, indifferent and unconcerned.

II: Some Care:
1. God enough to send His Son…
2. There are Christians and Churches.
3. There are watchmen on the wall.
4. Men in Hell care. “The Richman.”
5. Some care enough to put 10% of income, time and talent.
6. Some care enough to seek that which is lost. Big Boy Airman: “You people don’t really care about me; you… you. None of you have really showed me you care…”

No Man Cared For My Soul
“I looked on my right hand and behold, but there was no man that would know me: Refuge railed me; no man cared for my soul.” John 5:1-9, Heb. 4:12, Isis 55:10-11

I: “No Man Cared for My Soul.”
1. If this were true, then man would have reason to despair.
2. Some men don’t care for their own souls.
3. Some have no concern for the souls of their family.
4. Some by their very profession show no concern for the soul of their fellow man.
a. The booze crowd don’t care.
b. The pleasure seeking crowd.
c. The Money-Mad Mob.
d. The cold backsliding Christian.
e. The Church Member that has no time, talent or tithe to give that you might have eternal life.

II: These Do Care For Your Soul.
1. Men in Hell don’t want you to come there.
2. God cared enough to send His only son.
3. Jesus cared enough to die on Calvary’s cross.
4. Dedicated Christians care enough to share their time, their talent, and their money to bring you the good news.

III: “I Have No Man To Put Me Into the Pool.”
1. Sick for 38 years and no cure was found.
2. Not a friend to help him in time of need.
3. But one step from health.
4. Jesus said: “Wilt thou be made whole.”
a. 1st he must want to be made whole.
b. 2nd he must do it Jesus’ way.
c. He walked away from the place of sickness.

These do care for your soul. Do you?
