“The Works of the Lord in the Deep”
Psalm 107:1-32
I: “Oh That Men Would Praise the Lord for His Goodness.”
1. “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”
a. “They wondered in the wilderness in a solitary way — they found no city to dwell it.”
b. “Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.”
c. “Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble.”
2. “He satisfieth the longing soul.”
a. “Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death.”
b. “They rebelled against the words of God.”
c. “He brought down their heart with labor.”
d. “Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble.
3. “He hath broken the gates of brass and cut the bars of iron in sunder.”
a. “Fools because of their transgression and because of their iniquities are afflicted.”
b. “They draw men unto the Lord in their troubles.”
II: “Who Sees the Mighty Work of God?”
1. They that launch out into the deep!
2. They that cry unto the Lord in their trouble. They shall be glad, they shall be quite.
