4. The churches glory is measured by the glory found in its homes.

III: The Glory of the Church.
1. Dr. R.G. Lee: “Glory plumes its wings for departure when there is, on the part of pastor and people, the dilly-dallying with well-defined duties instead of a doing of deeds — a doing with their might what their hands find to do. Glory “packs its luggage for a 1 way trip”when in the Church people are noted for faultfinding instead of being notable for forgiveness, when offense is quickly taken and there is overlordism instead of the offering of self for lowly service, when the making of money means more than the mastery of money.”

“The glory hath departed.” will be written on Earth and known in Heaven of the Church where there is more yawning over watches than yearning over wanderers — where there is mere zest and not zealousness in good works. The true glory of a church consists in the “purity of it’s members, in it’s spiritual progress, in the unity of it’s fellowship, in the spiritual children born into its household of faith, in its self sacrificing spirit towards each other” and in prayer life of the whole group.”

2. The true glory of a church is in the purity and dedication of its members.
3. “No church that isn’t made up of consecrated Christian people will ever be glorious, there is no place in a glorious church for worldly people.” C.R. Angel.
