4. This type of people would follow the one who could give the most of material things.

6. The Disciples were in danger of such spirit and Jesus sent them away.

II: The Storm Tossed Boat.
1. Jesus went to prayer. The Disciples were tested by storm.
2. The Disciples without Jesus.
3. The Disciples and the unknown Jesus.
4. The Disciples and the King of Kings.
5. Jesus revealed the power of God that was his.

III: The 4 Miracles of that Night:
1. Laws f Nature controlled: Gravity.
2. Peter given the power over Nature.
3. The stilling of the Storm.
4. The immediate reaching of the other shore.

IV: “Fear not, it is I.”
1. He was mindful of their trouble.
2. He knew how much stress the boat would stand.
3. He knew that he he could control the storm.
4. He came to them in his own time and his own way.

In the Furnace of Temptation: On a million death beds the voice of Jesus brings calm and quietness. Jesus intercedes for his own at the throne of God. We are battling the Storms of Life, but we are not alone.
