Satan
Cor. 2 11:13-15, Rev. 20:1-3 10:, and John 8:33-59
Some would deny his existence, influence, and destination. Man’s picture of the Devil all wrong.
I: Who is He and How did He Get Here?
1. He was at one time the “anointed cherub that covereth, and was on the Holy Mountain of God.” Eph. 28:11-17
2. He probably was in a garden of beautiful stones.
3. He was perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him.
4. He fell from Heaven thru pride. Isa. 14:12-17.
The Devil never introduces himself!
II: Satan Introduced Sin to the Human Race.
1. He was subtle in introducing sin, “Yea hath God said.” (doubt).
2. He contradicted the word of God, “Ye shall not surely die.” (false assurance).
3. He made sin appealing. “Your eyes shall be opened.” (but he didn’t tell all they would see).
III: Satan is the Prince of This World.
1. He has a host of angels.
2. He has every sinner blinded.
3. He is acknowledged as the Father of Sinners. John 8:41-45
4. He has no mercy on those he completely controls.
5. He seeks to drag every soul to hell with him. Rev. 20:1-3, 10
6. He goes under many names: Adversary, Tempter, Slanderer, Accuser, Destroyer, Father of all Liars, Dragon, Angel of Light, a roaring lion, Serpent, Day Star, and many others.
7. Regardless of what name he uses wherever he goes he leaves a trail of sin.
IV: His Master Strokes (if I Were the Devil).
1. 1st: Keep people from Church.
2. 2nd: Keep them from making a stand.
3. 3rd: Keep them from making public acknowledging Jesus.
4. 4th: Keep them from taking a job.
5. 5th: Keep them from being faithful.
6. 6th: Get them so busy in other things they have no time to serve God.
7. 7th: Break the fellowship of the Church, the best Christians used when possible.
8. 8th: Rob God of the 3 T.S.
