Then the Fire of the Lord Fell.

Kings 1 18:30-38

I: The cold water Brigade.
1. The old Prophet knew all Hell couldn’t stop the fire from falling.
2. It is not hard to believe when one is on believing ground.
3. The cold water boys are always there.
a. Davids brothers.
b. Samballet and Tobia (Nehemiah).
c. King Agrippa (Paul).

II: “Do it the 3rd time.”
1. Elijah was not disturbed by water.
2. His faith was in the God of fire.
3. His confidence was bolstered by good preparation.
4. False prophets or cold water brigade failed to scare him. He was on believing ground.
5. One with God is a majority.

III: “Then the Fire fell.”
1. “Let it be known this day that thou art God.”
2. “I am thy servant.”
3. “I have done these things at thy word.”
4. “Hear me that these people may know.”
5. “Then the fire fell.”

“Lord do it again, do it again!”
