This fact was a sustaining force in the early Church and during the Dark Ages.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Paul points out some ways for the Christians of Corinth to let the World know their stand before God.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I: By Consistancy, (Thou art a Jewel) Reuben:<!--more--><\/strong><br \/>\n1. Under Physical Pressures: Afflictions, stripes, necessities, inprisonments, distresses, and laborers.<br \/>\n2. Under Spiritual Pressures: Fastings, pureness, knowledge, kindness, Holy Ghost, and truth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: By Convictions:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. The unequal yoke: Business, marriage, etc.<br \/>\n2. That you can&#8217;t mix righteousness and unrighteousness.<br \/>\n3. Light and darkness.<br \/>\n4. Christ and Belial.<br \/>\n5. The believer and the infidel.<br \/>\n6. Temple and idols, (The believer and idols).<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;Ye are the temple of God!&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>III: Consecration: Time, talent, and fithe.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;They shall be my people.&#8221;<br \/>\n2. By separation from questionable things.<br \/>\n3. By refusal to touch that which is unclean.<br \/>\n4. By a conduct which honors the Father.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We need to take a long look at the cost of our adoption.
