If he feels there is no need for health, finances, moral or spiritual, than you wast time in trying to help him.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I: Israels False Securities:<!--more--><\/strong><br \/>\n1. We are the children of Abraham.<br \/>\na. God has always favored us.<br \/>\nb. Why should God cease to favor us?<br \/>\nc. Other nations were the ones God punished.<br \/>\n2. It was a time of peace abroad, (Peace, peace when there was no peace).<br \/>\na. Military victories filled the people with pride.<br \/>\nb. They had the best!<br \/>\n3. Prosperity &#8211; Luxury was the rule of the day.<br \/>\n4. Luxury and ease was their aim in life.<br \/>\na. Put away the evil day.<br \/>\nb. Lie upon beds of ivory.<br \/>\nc. Eat lambs and calves.<br \/>\nd. Chant to the sound of Viol.<br \/>\ne. Drink wine.<br \/>\nf. Not troubled about coming disaster.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: Warnings from the Man of God:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. The leaders would be the 1st to taste defeat.<br \/>\n2. An end would come to luxury.<br \/>\n3. God abhored their pride founded on a false foundation.<br \/>\n4. Remember God won&#8217;t tolerate evil forever.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: True Security:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. The Spiritual Life of the individual.<br \/>\n2. The home that has Jesus as its head.<br \/>\n3. Remember that sin is a reproach to any people.<br \/>\n4.
