He also warned of the danger of falling under the Law of Works.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I: What moved you to depart from the Faith?<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Someone has bewitched you into foolishness.<br \/>\n2. The Holy Spirit came not by law.<!--more--><br \/>\n3. Miracles of the Spirit aren&#8217;t by law.<br \/>\n4. Gifts of the Spirit aren&#8217;t by law.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: Abraham wasn&#8217;t justified nor called righteous by the works of the Law.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. He believed God, (Faith).<br \/>\n2. They which are of faith are His children.<br \/>\n3. &#8220;No man is justified by the Law in the sight of God.&#8221;<br \/>\n4. &#8220;The just shall live by faith.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: Why did God give the Law?<\/strong><br \/>\n1. The Law was added because of transgressions.<br \/>\na. The Law was given to convince them of sin.<br \/>\nb. To put a curb upon their lust.<br \/>\nc. To direct them to the only place sin could be forgiven.<br \/>\nd. To show them the sinfulness of sin and the need of a promised Saviour.<br \/>\n2. The Law was given to convince men of the need for a Saviour.<br \/>\na. &#8220;Is the Law against the promises of God?&#8221;<br \/>\nb. &#8220;If there had been a law given that could have given life, veinly righteousness would have been by the Law.&#8221;<br \/>\nc. The Law discovered their wounds but couldn&#8217;t heal.<br \/>\n3. The Law was a Schoolmaster that led to Christ.<br \/>\na.
