It&#8217;s useless as lumber, it&#8217;s fit only for the fire when it quits bearing fruit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I: Israel called a vine. Isaiah 5:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Planted in a fruitful hill.<br \/>\n2. Fenced it and gathered out the stones.<br \/>\n3. Then he looked for fruit and it brought forth wild grapes.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>II: The Vineyard of the Slothful Man: Proverbs 24:30-34.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;I went by the field of the slothful.&#8221;<br \/>\n2. &#8220;The vineyard of the man void of understanding.&#8221;<br \/>\n3. &#8220;Any it was all grown over with thorns and nettles had covered the face thereof.&#8221;<br \/>\n4. &#8220;And the stone wall thereof was broken down.&#8221;<br \/>\n5. The cause was: Sleep, slumber, and folded hands.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: The Christian the fruit bearing branch.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Jesus is the true vine.<br \/>\n2. The father is the caretaker.<br \/>\n3. The Christian is the branck.<br \/>\n4. Abiding in Jesus produces fruit.<br \/>\n5.
