The Sea of Galilee is 680 ft. below the Mediterranean Sea. Temperature usually above 90 degrees.<br \/>\n2. Sweet things soon turn sour and fresh things soon become rancid.<!--more--><br \/>\n3. These people couldn&#8217;t live without salt.<br \/>\n4. Christians are salt to keep moral health, the natural enemies of moral disease.<br \/>\n5. Where sin threatens decay, the Christian salt should be there to stop it.<br \/>\n6. Preserves, flavors, and heals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: What attitude must we take?<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Rotteness in our own lives.<br \/>\n2. In Literature.<br \/>\n3. Rotteness in attitudes of slothfulness.<br \/>\n4. Rotteness of grudge and hate.<br \/>\n5. Rotteness in Politics and Business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: Salt must be in contact.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. It must be applied.<br \/>\n2. We are in the World but not of the World.<br \/>\n3. &#8220;I pray not that thou shouldn&#8217;t take them out of the World, but that thou shouldn&#8217;t keep them from evil.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV: Salt brings out flavor. Christianity is Trachivine, &#8220;I just died.&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Many things remain tastless until salt is applied, (Hard-boiled egg).<br \/>\n2. Stale things need to be freshened.<br \/>\n3. Life isn&#8217;t stale when Jesus rules.<br \/>\n4. Homes become sweeter and happier when Christianity is applied.<br \/>\n5. Staleness of daily living changed.<br \/>\n6. &#8220;I am come that they might have life&#8230;&#8221;<br \/>\n7.
