It&#8217;s a standard of value.<br \/>\n5. Money is coined personality, it represents a certain amount of my time and talent.<!--more--><br \/>\n6. &#8220;The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.&#8221; <strong>Timothy 1 6:10.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>II: The Tithe keeps a proper attitude as to who owns this old world.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. An ancient custom of Pagan people. Egypt, Babylon, Cyrus, Clay tablets found in Assyria and Egypt tell of tithing, 3,800 yrs. before Christ.<br \/>\n2. The Patriarchs:<br \/>\na. Abraham tithed to Melchezdek, (Why)?<br \/>\nb. Jacob vowed to tithe when he felt lonely and in peril.<br \/>\n3. The tithe was just as binding as any part of the Law.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: When Israel Failed:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Everytime the Israelites failed to tithe God brought them to shame.<br \/>\n2. God called them robbers.<br \/>\n3. The Devouree ruined their crops.<br \/>\n4. Their fruit fell before it was ripe.<br \/>\n5.
