Not an it, but a person. He can be grieved, rejected, blasphemed, and received.<br \/>\n2. He is always a symble of Power.<br \/>\n3. The spirit of God in action.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: O Testament:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Present in creation &#8211; Booded over creation.<!--more--><br \/>\n2. The breath of life breathed into man.<br \/>\n3. Clothed himself with Gedion, came upon others.<br \/>\n4. Job said: &#8220;The breath of the Almighty hath given me life.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: The Holy Spirit and the Christian:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Promised in: In their darkest hour, <strong>John 14:26<\/strong>,<strong> 16:6-15.<\/strong><br \/>\n2. The Comforter, Teacher, and Reminder. <strong>John 14:26.<\/strong><br \/>\n3. Would come when Jesus left! Jesus walked with them, the Holy Spirit would dwell within them.<strong> John 16:6.<\/strong><br \/>\na. He would convict the World of sin &#8211; Cindy.<br \/>\nb. He would convict the World of righteousness.<br \/>\nc. He would convict the World of judgement.<br \/>\nd. He would guide the Christian into all truth.<br \/>\ne. He would magnify and glorify Jesus.<br \/>\n4. Big Boy: Saved by convicting power of the Holy Spirit.<br \/>\n5. Sealed by Holy Spirit. <strong>Ephesians 1:13-14.<\/strong><br \/>\nSealed, (Roman seal).<br \/>\n6. The sign of the infilling, the presence of the Holy Spirit.<br \/>\na. He set us aside for God&#8217;s service.<br \/>\nb. The best evidence of His presence in our life is found in <strong>Galatians 5:19-25.<\/strong><br \/>\nc. Not in so called tongues but fruit!<br \/>\nd. He is our constant companion, without Him I would be nothing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He is the Earnest of our inheritance. The down payment, the promise of God that He will complete the transaction. God&#8217;s pledge to purchase. The engagement ring upon Christians life!<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The fruit of the Spirit isn&#8217;t given in a single act, but in a fruit bearing life.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;These are not drunk.
