God&#8217;s children are tested by trials and temptations.<br \/>\n2. Satan attacks from every point.<br \/>\n3. But when God himself tests us it&#8217;s to bring out the best in us and glorify His name.<br \/>\n4. Abraham had come to the greatest testing of his life.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>II: God laid His had on Abraham&#8217;s most precious possession.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;Here am I.&#8221; Abraham wasn&#8217;t out of place.<br \/>\n2. &#8220;Take your son.&#8221; The gift God had given him.<br \/>\n3. &#8220;Go to the land of Moriah and offer him as a burn offering.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: &#8220;Where is the lamb, God will provide?&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;I and the lad will go yonder and worship and come again to you.&#8221; <strong>Hebrews 11:19.<\/strong><br \/>\n2. Abraham was called on to give more than lip service. <strong>James 2:21.<\/strong><br \/>\n3. &#8220;Abraham took the wood of the burn offering and laid it on Issac.&#8221;<br \/>\n4. &#8220;And bound Isaac his son and laid him on the Altar.&#8221;<br \/>\n5. Then Abraham put forth his hand.<br \/>\n6. &#8220;But the Angel of the Lord.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV: &#8220;Behold the lamb of God.&#8221; John 1:29.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. God so loved that he gave His only son.<br \/>\n2. He bore the wood as fast as his strength would let him.<br \/>\n3. The nails were driven and the sword was plunged into His heart.<br \/>\n4. The fires of God burned about Him.<br \/>\n5. The father turned his back upon him.<br \/>\n6.
