I: The Need for Sound Leadership:<\/strong>1. “Some will depart from the Faith.”
\n2. “Giving heed to spirits that lead one into error.” “Teachings of demonds.”
\n3. “Branded in their own conscience.”
\n4. “Forbidding to marry, abstinent from foods.”<\/p>\n

II: Some Things to Do:
\n<\/strong>1. “Old wives fictions (refuse, reject, shun, and avoid)…”
\n\u00a0 a.<\/strong> Unhallowed & unscriptural.
\n\u00a0 b. <\/strong>Prove their statements by witnesses.
\n2. Exercise the mind, will, & emotions!
\na. <\/strong>Toward reverence, respect, and pity toward God. Peter 1 3:10.<\/strong>
\n\u00a0 b.<\/strong> This gives promise for this life and for the next!
\n3. Labor to the point of exhaustion and struggle for the cause.<\/p>\n

III: Some Things to Be.
\n<\/strong>1. “Assert the dignity of your office.”
\n2. Give no one ground for fault-finding in your character.
\na. <\/strong>In word & conversation (way of life).
\nb. <\/strong>In love and spirit.
\nc.\u00a0<\/strong>In faith and purity.<\/p>\n

IV: The Thing not to Continue Doing.
\n<\/strong>1. Neglecting the gift.
\na. <\/strong>By neglect it becomes useless.
\nb. <\/strong>Soon you will lose the gift.
\nc. <\/strong>God will ask for an account.
\nd. <\/strong>Souls will be lost to strange doctrines while your gift dies.
\ne. <\/strong>Lives will be lost to the cause of Christ while you burn your conscience and neglect your gift.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
