Some people talk a good Christian life, but never seems to have what it takes to die daily for Christ. Too many men are 10 years old in a pinch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I: &#8220;Receive not the grace of God in vain.&#8221; (Continue in Sin).<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. The grace of God is not to be received like water into the Dead Sea.<br \/>\nThe Jordan river has life until it enters the Dead Sea. Water that has no outlet becomes stagnate. God urges upon us the urgency of spiritual exercise.<br \/>\n2. A lifeless Christian is a stumbling block to others. He becomes a burden to His church and often a source of trouble. Others are often persuaded to follow his example. Sinners see no difference in their lives and His.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: Probing Ourselves under Fire or in A Pinch.<\/strong><br \/>\nThe world as well as the church expects a true soldier of God to stand in the hour of trial.<br \/>\n1. Proving ourselves in the physical: Patience, afflictions, necessities, distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, and in fastings.<br \/>\n2. Proving ourselves in the mental: Pureness, knowledge, long-suffering, and kindness.<br \/>\n3. Proving ourselves in the spiritual: By the Holy Ghost, love unfeigned, word of truth, and armor of righteousness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All these things will prove our Christian<\/strong> <strong>sincerity.
