All human race needs God&#8217;s forgiveness.<br \/>\n<strong>a. <\/strong>All have sinned &amp; come short.<br \/>\n<strong>b. <\/strong>All have failed to live up to what we knew God wanted us to do.<br \/>\n&#8220;If we say we have no sin, we lie.&#8221;<br \/>\n<strong>c. <\/strong>We need a continual forgiveness. (If we confess our sin He is faithful and just to forgive).<br \/>\n2. Man&#8217;s forgiveness to man:<br \/>\n<strong>a. <\/strong>Men fail one another.<br \/>\n<strong>b. <\/strong>The only way to restore broken fellowship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: The Bases of Forgiveness:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. God&#8217;s way of forgiveness:<br \/>\n<strong>a. <\/strong>He paid the price of pardon.<br \/>\n<strong>b. <\/strong>He forgives freely and completely.<br \/>\n<strong>c. <\/strong>He expects us to live in the full freedom of forgiveness.<br \/>\n2. Man&#8217;s basis of forgiveness:<br \/>\n<strong>a. <\/strong>As God has forgiven us we forgive others.<br \/>\n<strong>b. <\/strong>Our forgiveness before God depends upon forgiving others.<br \/>\n<strong>c. <\/strong>Our forgiveness should be from the inner man.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Lord how often &#8212; seven times.&#8221;<\/strong><strong>&#8220;Father forgive them &#8230;&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Matthew 6:14, Matthew 18:21-35 I: The Need for Forgiveness: 1.
