He was a man of business.<br \/>\n2. He was accustomed to wealth &amp; pleasure.<br \/>\n3. He sought to see Jesus.<br \/>\n4. He did not let others stand in his way.<br \/>\n5. He found a way to overcome obstacles in his way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: Zaccheaus Meets Jesus:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Jesus looked up and saw him (Jesus knew all about him).<br \/>\n2. Jesus commanded him to hurry &amp; come down.<br \/>\nIt was necessary for Zaccheaus to come down.<br \/>\n3. He led the way to his home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: There Were Some Definite Changes in Zaccheaus.<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. He gladly gave up his old life.<br \/>\n2. He received Jesus with joy.<br \/>\n3. His heart was moved to meet the needs of needy people.<br \/>\n4. He was ready to do more than required to right the wrongs he had done.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV: The First Thing Jesus Asked Him to Do Was to come Down from the Tree.<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Naaman would have remained a leper had he refused to bathe in Jordan.<br \/>\n2. Matthew would have remained a tax collector had he refused to leave the job of collecting taxes.<br \/>\n3. Peter would have remained an obscure fisherman had he refused to follow.<br \/>\n4. The good Samaritan would never have been heard of had he chosen to remain on his beast.<br \/>\n5.
