Built upon the solid rock Christ Jesus.<br \/>\n2. It began as a beacon light in a dark and confused world.<br \/>\n3. Christ chose the workers to launch the church on its early journey.<br \/>\n4. He paid the full price for the men and women that would make up the church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: Glorious in the Power of Pentecost:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. The masses of people were shaken from their sleep of death.<br \/>\n2. The sluggard was stirred and the careless took heed.<br \/>\n3. The crowds came to see the marvels of a church filled with power.<br \/>\n4. The church generated enough force to stop the drift of the passing multitude.<br \/>\n<strong>A revival broke out when the church was filled with power.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>III: Glorious in Conquest: Like A Mighty Army Moves the Church of God.<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. They went everywhere preaching the good news.<br \/>\n2. They not only sang like an army, but went out to storm the strong hold of satan.<br \/>\n3. Their songs were songs of tried and proven warriors.<br \/>\n4. They knew how to pray all night.<br \/>\n5. They were not afraid to say to the blind see, and to the lame, walk.<br \/>\n6. They were not influenced by the world, but they made the world feel the influence of the church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV: Glorious in Its Mission.<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. There is no lodge or party of men that has the task of importance like unto the church.<br \/>\n2. There is no group of people that has a command like that given to the New Testament church.<br \/>\n3. There is no mission that the success will mean so much or the failure so horrible.<br \/>\n4. We deal with the true wealth of the world when we deal with should.<br \/>\n5. We fight the most important battle when we wrestle with the powers of darkness for the souls of men.<br \/>\n6.
