Worthy of your calling.<br \/>\n2. &#8220;Lowliness,&#8221; a modest opinion of self, the demand for recognition is absent.<br \/>\n3. &#8220;Meekness,&#8221; absence of a spirit of resentment or revenge, a willingness to suffer without retaliation.<br \/>\n4. Forbearing one another.<br \/>\n5. &#8220;Keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.&#8221; Avoid strife, pursue unity.<br \/>\n6. Seven sources of Christian unity. <strong>verses 5-6<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: Diversity of Gifts In One Body, Verses 4-16.<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Some apostles have seen Jesus.<br \/>\n2. Prophets, Evangelists<br \/>\n3. Pastors and teachers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: &#8220;For the Perfecting of the Saints.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Pastor &amp; teacher were combined here.<br \/>\n2. &#8220;Pastor has three responsibilities to perfect the saints, to do the work of the ministry, to edit the body of Christ.&#8221;<br \/>\n3. &#8220;Perfect,&#8221; to equip someone in order that he might be able to perform a certain piece of work.<br \/>\n&#8220;The pastor was never called to do all the work of the church, nor even a large portion of it; he was to specialize in training the saints in the pew to engage in Christian service, and he would thus multiply himself,&#8221; <strong>K.S. Wuest.<\/strong><br \/>\n4. This kind of concept of a church and pastor, eliminates the battle worming, nursery type preacher.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV: &#8220;Unto A Full Grown Man.&#8221; O Perfect Man.<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Mature manhood as compared with babies.<br \/>\n2. One ready and able to eat meat.<br \/>\n3. One not dwarfed in Christian experience.<br \/>\n4. Not &#8220;tossed to &amp; fro, &amp; carried about with every wind of doctrine.&#8221;<br \/>\n5.
