(<strong>Pelopnesus<\/strong>) Lower Greece &amp; with Macedonia and Trace. Located on a rock 200 feet above sea level. The citadel located 1600 above sea level. Shone like a city of Gold.<br \/>\n2. Commanded the passage to Macedonia.<br \/>\n3. Athens the intellectual: Sparta the military, Corinth the commercial.<br \/>\n4. At the time of Christ one of the worlds most important cities.<br \/>\n5. Here the Isthmian games were held. &#8220;<strong>Vanity Fair.<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n6. The temple of Aphrodite or Venus the chief, to be the debauched servants in that infamous temple.<br \/>\n7. Here more slaves were gathered than any city of Paul&#8217;s time.<br \/>\n8. Rich, proud, learned fools. 70 rise in their immortality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: The Establishment of the Church by Paul: Acts 18:1-11.<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Fresh from Mars Hill of Athens.<br \/>\n2. Sought out Aquila and Priscella, and worked with them.<br \/>\n3. Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, was saved.<br \/>\n4. Slaves were converted, men from the lowest walks of Corinths were converted.<br \/>\n5. No Church experienced great miracles and gifts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: Paul&#8217;s Letter to the Church:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Affirms his call to the ministry.<br \/>\n2. Sent to set things in order.<br \/>\n3. To call them to make a spiritual stand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV: Sanctified Plutocrats:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Set aside as God&#8217;s assembly.<br \/>\n2. &#8220;Sanctified.&#8221; Regeneration is instantaneous.<br \/>\n<strong>a. <\/strong>Sanctification is the progressive work of making completely whole, that new life which is commenced in regeneration.<br \/>\n<strong>b. <\/strong>Striving to make us Christ like.<br \/>\n3. &#8220;Ye were enriched.&#8221;<br \/>\nRicher than the wealth of Corinth.<br \/>\n4.
