{"id":1927,"date":"2013-12-29T14:27:40","date_gmt":"2013-12-29T20:27:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.georgefindley.com\/?p=1927"},"modified":"2014-12-16T11:20:44","modified_gmt":"2014-12-16T17:20:44","slug":"god-divided-the-water","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.georgefindley.com\/?p=1927","title":{"rendered":"God Divided the Water"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Heavens Declare the Glory of God<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Genesis 1:6-8, Psalms 19:1-7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Moses recorded marvelous things that it has taken man thousands of years to begin to discover.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I: The Firmament is Made &amp; the Waters Divided:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1.\u00a0<strong>Firmament &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>&#8220;To spread out, limitless expanse.&#8221;<br \/>\n2. There are definitely two bodies of water &amp; if they were not separated, life would be impossible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: The Upper &amp; Lower Bodies of Water:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. The lower bodies of water we are well acquainted with.<br \/>\n<strong>a.\u00a0<\/strong>Here fish &amp; living creatures make their home.<br \/>\n<strong>b.\u00a0<\/strong>Our ships sail upon it &amp; our subs travel thru it.<br \/>\n<strong>c.\u00a0<\/strong>Divers bring its treasures from below the surface.<br \/>\n2. The upper bodies of water are just as real.<br \/>\n<strong>a.\u00a0<\/strong>It contains waves &amp; bounding billows.<br \/>\n<strong>b.\u00a0<\/strong>It has currents &amp; tides governed by the same powers.<br \/>\n<strong>c.\u00a0<\/strong>We have learned to navigate this great body of water &amp; take advantage of its currents &amp; tides.<br \/>\n3. Both bodies of water have specific weight and pressure (fish brought from the depth).<br \/>\n2,100 lbs. per square foot, or 14 tons for the average size man.<br \/>\n4. God has a plan for every living thing and it just didn&#8217;t happen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: &#8220;The Heavens Declare the Glory of God.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. God&#8217;s plan in a proper balance of the atmosphere.<br \/>\n<strong>a. Nitrogen:\u00a0<\/strong>Nine parts oxygen, 21 parts.<br \/>\nThis proportion is the same whether at sea level or on the Mountain top. Suppose this were changed!!!<br \/>\n<strong>b. N2O:\u00a0<\/strong>&#8220;Laughing gas.&#8221;<br \/>\n<strong>c. N2O2:\u00a0<\/strong>Nitric oxide, this would kill by choking.<br \/>\n<strong>d.\u00a0<\/strong>By changing the proportion it can be made a deadly poison or a powerful explosive.<br \/>\n2. God has provided a way to keep this atmosphere at a proper balance &#8212; Nitrogen rises to mix once more with oxygen.<br \/>\n3. Oxygen can mean life or death, it can be peaceful or disruptive.<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Peter 2 3:10\u00a0<\/strong>&#8220;But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, ,and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also, and the works that are therein shall be burned up.&#8221;<br \/>\n4.
