Revelations 21:1-7<\/strong><\/p>\n

I: Types of Heaven:
\n<\/strong>1. Eden — means pleasure or delight. Man’s paradise was lost.
\n2. Candan was a type of heaven.
\na. Home for the people of God.
\nb. A home of plenty.
\n3. Jerusalem — A glorious city.
\n4. The temple and the church.
\na. A place to meet God and worship.
\n5. The Sabbath — Rest and peace.
\n6. Father and Home.<\/p>\n

II: Figures of Heaven:
\n<\/strong>1. A place — “I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2
\n<\/strong>2. A city — “Here we have no abiding city, but we seek one to come.” Hebrews 13:14. <\/strong>“He hath prepared for them a\u00a0 city.” Hebrews 11:16.<\/strong>
\n3. A House — “We have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” Corinthians 2 5:1.<\/strong>
\n4. A Kingdom: “Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foudation of the world.” Matthew 25:34.<\/strong>
\n5. Heaven is a country — “They seek a country.”<\/p>\n

III: Heaven as John saw it.
\n<\/strong>1. A new heaven and new earth.
\n2. he Holy City.
\n3. No tears, no death, no sorrow, no crying, no pain. Revelations 2.<\/strong>
\n4. Nothing that defiles shall enter.
\n5. A river of life, tree of life.
\n6. “God giveth them light, and they shall reign forever and ever.” Revelations 22:5.<\/strong><\/p>\n
