\n1. Ignorant of his real spiritual poverty.
\n2. Confident in his own goodness.
\n3. Like Saul of Tarsus Dependent upon works.
\n4. He did not know that he had become a slave to his wealth.<\/p>\n
\n1. Jesus saw his ignorance.
\n2. Jesus heard his question.
\n3. Jesus saw his potentialities.
\n4. Jesus loved him and gave him the only medicine that would cure his sin-sick heart.<\/p>\n
\n1. He wanted eternal life.
\n2. He was not ashamed to kneel and enquire.
\n3. He was willing to work and sacrifice.
\n4. He was not willing to become poor and follow Christ.
\n5. One can never follow Christ and love the world more. Jesus demanded the same from him he demands of us.<\/p>\n
