\n1. He refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter.
\n2. He refused to become a man of leisure & power in the courts of Egypt.
\n3. He refused to become bound by the wealth of Egypt.
\n4. He refused to remain idle while his people remained slaves. Moses became a Master in the use of the word NO. God’s men and women learn to say No.
\n5. The Hebrew Children, Daniel. Our young men today need to learn how to say a definite and final No. “Have courage my boy to say No.” A young woman of our day will never grow up to be used of God unless she learns to say No.<\/p>\n
\n1. Moses deliberately chose to suffer affliction with God’s people.
\n2. He refused the pleasures of sin for a season. He was not fooled by the pleasures of the court for he knew these would pass away. Young people stand on the threshold of a life that has many choices to make.
\n3. There are many paths to travel but no one can travel them all.
\n4. Joshua said, “As for me & my house.”
\n5. Elijah said, “Choose ye this day.”
\n6. Jesus said, “There were only 2 roads over which the whole human race traveled, one was broad and one was narrow, one led to death, and one to life.”<\/p>\n
\n1. Moses valued the hope of a slaved people above the fleeting riches of Egypt.
\n2. He thought it more valuable to be accounted with slaves that looked for a Messiah than to be a prince to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.
\n3. He learned as Paul the apostle learned that the present afflictions were out-weighed by an eternal weight of glory. We have the choice to make today the church or the world; the church with its burdens or the world with its fleeting pleasures.
\n4. Refuse, choose, and esteem are words that can send us to Heaven or Hell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
