\n1. The man may have been afraid of the return of the demons.
\n2. He may have been ashamed to face his friends.
\n3. He may have thought he could be a better disciple away from the people that knew him so well .
\n4. Or he may have thought it necessary to leave home to do a great work for the Lord.
\n5. Jesus stayed where he was.<\/p>\n
\n1. The best place to start is at home.
\na. With your own family.
\nb. With your neighbor.
\nc. With those you associate with.
\nd. With those you work with.
\n2. One will never overcome the world when he can’t live victorious at home.
\n3. You will never be successful abroad when your own family doubts your salvation.<\/p>\n
\n1. He had many things to be thankful for.
\n2. He may not be able to argue with the learned but he could tell of his personal contact with Jesus.
\n3. What kind of person would he have been if he had refused to tell his friends about Jesus?
\n4. He was permitted to work where Jesus was not wanted.<\/p>\n
\n1. If you have experienced salvation you ought to become a witness.
\n2. God will hold you responsible for the folks at home.
\n3. Only an ingrate would keep his candle under a basket.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
