Pilgrims 1621, Washington, Thursday Nov. 20, 1787. Abraham Lincoln the last Thursday in Nob. 1863: Thanksgiving didn’t start with the Pilgrims nor is it a new thing for men to be thankful. The time of harvest was a time of Thanksgiving in Ancient times. We have much to be thankful for.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Psalm 148:1-14<\/strong><\/p>\n

I: The Heavens Give Thanks to God. Job 38:1-28<\/strong>
\n1. “The Heavens declared the glory of God.”
\n2. He laid the foundation of the world.
\n3. The Heavens are his hand work.
\n4. He set doors and boundaries for the sea and wrapped it in thick clouds.
\n5. He commands the morning and evening.
\n6. He divides the water course and makes way for the lightening. “Lightening shocks average 30,000 times a day, 1 single flash a mile long travels over 2 million miles per hr. and lasts only 1\/1000th of a second, yet it generates a billion volts and produces a temperature of 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit. One days discharge would light, heat, and run all the wheels of Industry in New York City for a solid year.”<\/p>\n

II: The Earth is the Lords and the Fullness Thereof. Psalm 50:1-15<\/strong>
\n1. “Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence.”
\n2. The Heavens will declare his righteousness.
\n3. God is not poverty stricken and depends up on our offerings.
\n4. “If I were hungry I would not tell thee, for the world is mind.”
\n5. God can get along without you or me.<\/p>\n

III: 4 Things to Remember.<\/strong>
\n1. Offer unto God Thanksgiving.
\n2. Pay thy vows, unto the most high.
\n3. Call upon me in the day of trouble.
