Bread, water, life, material, spiritual. John 6:35-65<\/strong><\/p>\n

I: The Bread That came in the Wilderness – “I Am the Living Bread:” vs. 35, 48, 51<\/strong>
\n1. Your fathers eat manna and are dead. “I am the living bread.”Vs. 49
\n2. “I came down from Heaven.” vs. 51
\na. A claim to virgin birth.
\nb. A claim to the only son of God.
\nc. A claim to the giver of eternal life.
\n3. Through my flesh and blood is life. No life except by the Cross.
\n4. “And they said.”
\na. We know your family.
\nb. Your just a Carpenters son.
\nc. You can’t fool us.
\n5. “No man can come to me except the Father drew him.” Man cannot believe at will, but when God draws him.
\n6. Without spiritual discernment one will not follow Christ.
\n7. Eternal life can be ours by believing.<\/p>\n

II: “Doth This Offend you?” vs. 61<\/strong>
\n1. Yes when He spoke of flesh and blood prices.
\n2. This was not the kind of King they wanted.
\n3. They were so dedicated to the material that they refused to see the Spiritual.
\n4. They were offended by Spiritual demands! Some of this breed still lives.
\n5. The blood of broken body is the only hope for a lost world.
\n6. “From that time many of his disciples went back.” vs. 66
\n7. Blind to Spiritual life. They turned to the only things they could see.<\/p>\n

“The beggarly elements of the World.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

III: “Will Ye also Go Away?”<\/strong>
\n1. Do you want to seek another way of life?
\n2. Even God cannot make this choice for you.
\n3. Some turn back at the time of Prayer. Some turn back at the time of Bible study. Some turn back at the Sharing of food or responsibility.
\n4. The cause of Christ suffers when professing disciples turn to walk no more with Jesus.<\/p>\n

IV: “Lord to whom Shall We Go?” vs. 6-8<\/strong>
\n1. When one turns from Jesus he needs to take a long look down the road he has chosen.
\n2. Where can he find what Christ has offered?
\n3. What is the final destiny of the road chosen? “Will ye also go away?” “To whom shall we go?”<\/p>\n

Where can you find a better way of life?<\/strong><\/p>\n
