The whole story moves in the same atmosphere of tension and conflict between Jesus and organized religion. This miracle brought open Warfare. A definite break between Jesus and the Religious Leaders.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 John 9:1-6<\/strong><\/p>\n

I: “As He Passed by.”<\/strong>
\n1. Jesus found opportunity everywhere. So may we!
\n2. “He saw a man.” He saw beyond the outward appearance.
\n3. The Disciples saw a problem, a debate about sin.
\n4. “But…” The of who was not answered. Jesus left the past and worked in today!<\/p>\n

II: The Man Made to See.<\/strong>
\n1. Jesus used means … by means or without means is in his will.
\n2. “Go wash. He went, and came seeing.”
\n3. His neighbors divided by what they saw.
\n4. “I am he.” His 1st testimony!
\n5. “A man that is called Jesus.” All he knew! “I went, washed, received my sight!”<\/p>\n

III: “They Brought Him to the Pharisees.” vs. 13<\/strong>
\n1. “And it was the Sabbath.”
\n2. “This man is not of God because…” vs. 16 They saw a broken tradition, failed to see a blind man healed. A man made clay on the Sabbath, they saw!
\n3. “What saith thou.” “He is a Prophet.” Growth!
\n4. When pressed before Parents: “I was blind, now I see!”
\n5. “Will ye also be his Disciples.” vs. 28 Witnessing.
\n6. “If this man were not of God…”<\/p>\n

IV: “Jesus Heard … when He had Found Him.” vs. 35<\/strong>
\n1. “Dost thou believe.”
\n2. “Who is he that I might believe?”
\n3. “Lord, I believe,” and he worshipped.
\n4. From a blind beggar to a “man called Jesus.” He is a Prophet, if this man were not from God, “Lord I believe!” “He worshiped him.”<\/p>\n

Do we see men? Do we see Jesus? Do we witness to what we know!<\/strong><\/p>\n

“This I Know”<\/strong><\/p>\n

We guess at many things, but some things we ought to know. <\/strong>
\nScriptural Context: Jesus had forgiven the woman taken Adultery, declared himself the light of the World and escaped when they tried to stone him. John 9:1-38<\/strong><\/p>\n

I: “And as Jesus Passed by:”<\/strong>
\n1. He saw a man blind from birth.
\n2. The Disciples asked: “Who did Sin?”
\n3. He suffered to bring glory to God.
\n4. Jesus did what ought to be done for he realized the Opportunity would not come again. “The night cometh.”<\/p>\n

II: There were 2 Parts to His Cure:<\/strong>
\n1. There was Jesus’ part.
\na. He stopped and saw his condition.
\nb. He made clay and placed on the blind eyes.
\nc. he sent him to the pool of Siloam.
\n2. The blind man had to exercise his faith.
\na. He submitted to the application.
\nb. He went and washed in the pool of Siloam.<\/p>\n

III: He was Soon the Talk of the Town.<\/strong>
\n1. “Is not this he?”
\n2. “This is he.”
\n3. “How were thine eyes opened?”
\n4. “Where is he?”
\n5. The Pharisees: How? This man is not of God.
\n6. “How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles?”
\n7. Dad and Mother: “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind. He is of age, ask him.”<\/p>\n

IV: This I Know.<\/strong>
\n1. “He is a Prophet.”
\n2. One thing I know I was blind, but now I see!
\n3. If this man were not of God he could do nothing.<\/p>\n

“And he said: Lord, I believe, and he worshipped him.” The blind man accused his interrogators of closing their eyes to the Evidence, their ears to the truth, and their hearts to faith.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
