This miracle brought open Warfare. A definite break between Jesus and the Religious Leaders.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 John 9:1-6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> I: &#8220;As He Passed by.&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Jesus found opportunity everywhere. So may we!<br \/>\n2. &#8220;He saw a man.&#8221; He saw beyond the outward appearance.<br \/>\n3. The Disciples saw a problem, a debate about sin.<br \/>\n4. &#8220;But&#8230;&#8221; The of who was not answered. Jesus left the past and worked in today!<\/p>\n<p><strong> II: The Man Made to See.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Jesus used means &#8230; by means or without means is in his will.<br \/>\n2. &#8220;Go wash. He went, and came seeing.&#8221;<br \/>\n3. His neighbors divided by what they saw.<br \/>\n4. &#8220;I am he.&#8221; His 1st testimony!<br \/>\n5. &#8220;A man that is called Jesus.&#8221; All he knew! &#8220;I went, washed, received my sight!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong> III: &#8220;They Brought Him to the Pharisees.&#8221; vs. 13<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;And it was the Sabbath.&#8221;<br \/>\n2. &#8220;This man is not of God because&#8230;&#8221; vs. 16 They saw a broken tradition, failed to see a blind man healed. A man made clay on the Sabbath, they saw!<br \/>\n3. &#8220;What saith thou.&#8221; &#8220;He is a Prophet.&#8221; Growth!<br \/>\n4. When pressed before Parents: &#8220;I was blind, now I see!&#8221;<br \/>\n5. &#8220;Will ye also be his Disciples.&#8221; vs. 28 Witnessing.<br \/>\n6. &#8220;If this man were not of God&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong> IV: &#8220;Jesus Heard &#8230; when He had Found Him.&#8221; vs. 35<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;Dost thou believe.&#8221;<br \/>\n2. &#8220;Who is he that I might believe?&#8221;<br \/>\n3. &#8220;Lord, I believe,&#8221; and he worshipped.<br \/>\n4. From a blind beggar to a &#8220;man called Jesus.&#8221; He is a Prophet, if this man were not from God, &#8220;Lord I believe!&#8221; &#8220;He worshiped him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong> Do we see men? Do we see Jesus? Do we witness to what we know!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;This I Know&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> We guess at many things, but some things we ought to know. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Scriptural Context: Jesus had forgiven the woman taken Adultery, declared himself the light of the World and escaped when they tried to stone him. John 9:1-38<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> I: &#8220;And as Jesus Passed by:&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n1. He saw a man blind from birth.<br \/>\n2. The Disciples asked: &#8220;Who did Sin?&#8221;<br \/>\n3. He suffered to bring glory to God.<br \/>\n4. Jesus did what ought to be done for he realized the Opportunity would not come again. &#8220;The night cometh.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong> II: There were 2 Parts to His Cure:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. There was Jesus&#8217; part.<br \/>\na. He stopped and saw his condition.<br \/>\nb. He made clay and placed on the blind eyes.<br \/>\nc. he sent him to the pool of Siloam.<br \/>\n2. The blind man had to exercise his faith.<br \/>\na. He submitted to the application.<br \/>\nb. He went and washed in the pool of Siloam.<\/p>\n<p><strong> III: He was Soon the Talk of the Town.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;Is not this he?&#8221;<br \/>\n2. &#8220;This is he.&#8221;<br \/>\n3. &#8220;How were thine eyes opened?&#8221;<br \/>\n4. &#8220;Where is he?&#8221;<br \/>\n5. The Pharisees: How? This man is not of God.<br \/>\n6. &#8220;How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles?&#8221;<br \/>\n7. Dad and Mother: &#8220;We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind. He is of age, ask him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong> IV: This I Know.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;He is a Prophet.&#8221;<br \/>\n2. One thing I know I was blind, but now I see!<br \/>\n3. If this man were not of God he could do nothing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;And he said: Lord, I believe, and he worshipped him.&#8221; The blind man accused his interrogators of closing their eyes to the Evidence, their ears to the truth, and their hearts to faith.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The whole story moves in the same atmosphere of tension and conflict between Jesus and organized religion.
