I: Gen. 1:1 Takes God for Granted.<\/strong>
\n1. The Bible doesn’t argue the existence of God, it tells of God.
\n2. Man that would be able of understanding all about God would be a God himself.
\n3. We walk by Faith and not by Sight.
\n4. God has revealed himself:
\na. As 1 God.
\nb. As a voice.
\nc. Through Human Experiences.
\nd. Through his world.
\ne. Through the Bible.
\nf. Through his Son.<\/p>\n

II: Gods Likeness:<\/strong>
\n1. God is love.
\n2. God is light.
\n3. God has compassion.
\n4. God becomes angry.
\n5. In Him is no darkness.
\n6. God is Holy.<\/p>\n

III: God is Supreme:<\/strong>
\n1. Natural History proves that man is too weak to invent a God who is Supreme.
\n2. “The Lord He is God and there is none else beside him.” Deut. 4:35
\n3. Supreme over His Universe.
\n4. Supreme over time, made, controls ends, inside, outside.
\na. God is everlasting. Gen. 21:23
\nb. God never changes. Psalm 102:27
\nc. “The eyes of the Lord are every place.” Prov. 15:3<\/p>\n

“Am I a God at hand … and not a God afar off? … Do not I fill heaven and Earth.” Jer. 23:23-24<\/strong>
\n Jesus told the Samaritan woman that God could not be isolated in a building nor on an altar. John 4:24<\/strong>
\nEvery man a Priest and every heart an Altar.<\/strong>
\n Omniscient — He knows everything.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Psalm 47:5, Isaiah 46:9-10, Heb. 4:13, and John 1 3:20<\/strong>
\n Yah, Mhweh, Yahveh … The one who is and shall be. He is the great “I AM.” He is a holy God — to worship anything less dwarfs man’s soul. Paul in Athens.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Epicureans – Epicures (342-271 B.C). Their object was to find, in Philosophy, a practical guide to happiness. True pleasure and not absolute truth was the end at which he gained experience and not reason the test on which he relied.<\/strong>
