Felix wanted to hear more about Faith in Jesus Christ.<br \/>\n2. Paul was reasoning from Scripture.<br \/>\n3. Goodness &#8212; (Felix cruel and heartless).<br \/>\n4. Self-control (Felix and his lust).<br \/>\n5. Judgment (Felix knew judgment).<br \/>\n6. Felix trembled &#8212; fear came upon him as conscience awoke.<\/p>\n<p><strong> II: Felix Sought A Better Time &#8211; Procrastinated.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Felix was counting on tomorrow.<br \/>\n2. Tomorrow unlocked a dungeon of despair for Felix.<br \/>\n3. Felix failed to realize that now was important.<br \/>\n4. For Felix the convenient time never came.<\/p>\n<p><strong> III: Felix Had A Secret Hope of Gain and Favor.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. The possibility of money meant more than a living Christ.<br \/>\n2. The favor of the Jews was more important than Salvation.<br \/>\n3. Sins closed about Felix and took away the most convenient time.<\/p>\n<p><strong> IV: The Most Convenient Time.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Now is the accepted time.<br \/>\n2. Tomorrow may never come.<br \/>\n3. The most pressing problems of life demand immediate attention. (The steamship Central America).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Causes of Procrastination:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>1. Wordily entanglements set lingered.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2. Family cares &#8211; &#8220;Suffer me to go bury&#8230;&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3. Unbelief &#8211; &#8220;some mocked.&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>4. Personal conscience.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>But once I pass this way, and then no more. But once, and then, the Silent door. Swings on its hinges, opens &#8230; closes, and no more. I pass this way, so while I may, with all my might I will essay. Sweet comfort and delight, to all I meet upon the Pilgrim Way. For no man travels twice.
