Acts 23:1-11,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Matthew 14:22-33<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n “One-third of our Church Members contradict the teachings of the Church by their very lives.”<\/strong>
\n Dr. Criswell: “When the World is at its worst we must be at our best.”<\/strong>
\n Dr. R.G. Lee “We hear the Gospel by bucket-fulls and live it by the drop.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

I: We Must Realize the danger We Face.<\/strong>
\n1. The Disciples were in danger of accepting the Spirit of the Crowd, (They would make Jesus King).
\n2. They were in danger of the Sea where they were familiar.
\n3. They were in danger because their faith was weak.
\n4. Jesus allowed them to reach their own limitations.<\/p>\n

II: “Be of Good Cheer.”<\/strong>
\n1. This was no time to give up.
\n2. They were encouraged.
\n3. Peter attempted the impossible and found the limit of his faith.
\nWe are too often contained to stay in the boat.<\/p>\n

III: “It is I.”<\/strong>
\n1. They needed him.
\n2. This lesson would last them a life time.
\n3. “Jesus this is Jim. Jim this is Jesus.”
\na. Sunday School: teacher and worker.
\nb. Training Union Officer.
\nc. Brotherhood and W.M.U.
\nd. Choir, did you know Jesus is listening?
\ne. Family, he is your unseen guest!
\nf. Bread winner Jesus is there where you make your budget.
\n4. “I am satisfied with Jesus, but the question comes to me as I think of Calvary is my Master satisfied with me?”<\/p>\n

We can’t present Christ through lukewarm Christianity. If we don’t listen to God, the Holy Spirit will leave us and we will never know when he left…<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
