Acts 9:1-9, 22:1-10, and 26:9-15<\/strong>
\nThe 9th Chapter of Acts should open with “But” a contrast to what the 8th Chapter has been saying.<\/p>\n

I: “Breathing out Threatenings.”<\/strong>
\n1. Once he stood watching now he leads the pact.
\n2. To destroy the Church was his very breath.
\n3. He voted for their death and helped persecute them from place to place.
\n4. Paul himself said later he was “exceedingly mad.”
\n5. Never was he able to wipe these wicked things form his mind.
\nWAS GOD ASLEEP?<\/p>\n

II: “At Midday … I Saw.” Acts 26:13<\/strong>
\n1. Saul thought he was serving God.
\n2. Jesus was an Impostor.
\n3. With anger and murder he journeyed.
\n4. “I saw a light.” “I am the Light of the World.”
\n5. “He heard a voice.”
\n6. Saul asked “Why persecutest me?”
\na. No man abuses the Church without involving Jesus.
\nb. Paul’s great teacher, Gamaliel, had warned them that this might happen.
\nc. Paul was blinded that he might see.
\n7. “It’s hard for thee to kick against the Gods.”
\na. Like a stubborn Ox.
\nb. Man hurts himself most when he fights God.<\/p>\n

III: “Stand upon Thy Feet.”<\/strong>
\n1. “I have appeared unto thee for this purpose.”
\n2. “To make thee,” a special work.
\n3. “What shall I do Lord?” Acts 22:10
\n4. “Behold he prayeth.” Acts 9:11
\nPrayer is a definite of the people of the way.
\n5. Paul showed evidence of a changed life.<\/p>\n
