Mark 7:21-23<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Where your treasure is there will your heart be also.”<\/strong>
\nLuke 12:34<\/strong>
\n “Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his statue; for the Lord seeth not as man seeth, for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” Sam. 1 16:7<\/strong>

\n I: The physical heart:<\/strong>
\n1. Beats from 60-80 times a minute, 4,320 times an hour, 100,000 times a day, 40 million times a year. Exerts enough energy every 24 hours to raise a 2 lb. weight 12 miles into the air.
\n2. The capillaries laid side by side would extend around the world 4 times.
\n3. Equivalent to 10 tons of blood forced thru the body every 24 hours.
\n4. 5,000,000 little boats called corpuscles loading and unloading, fighting, dividing, uniting, carrying on the war against disease, all traveling the blood stream from the heart.<\/p>\n

II: The spiritual heart.<\/strong>
\n1. From this fountain flows the issues of live. Proverbs 4:23.
\n2. Character determined. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Prov. 23:7
\n3. The source of evil. Matthew 15:18.
\n4. Desperately wicked.
\n5. No man can change the heart.<\/p>\n

III: The regenerated heart.<\/strong>
\n1. Demonstrated by a changed life.
\n2. Changing of our treasure.
\n3. Produces the fruit of the Spirit.
\n4. “My son give me thine heart.” God creates in us a new heart.<\/p>\n
