Though we feel ill at ease and stand in fear of offending them we call them friends.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: Fair Weather Friends:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Some friends are obtained with money.<br \/>\n2. Some friends by popularity.<br \/>\n3. Some for political reasons.<br \/>\n4. When the pressure of sorrow comes, they fold their tents and steal away in the night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: Real Friends:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. There is a bond stronger than death.<br \/>\na. David and Jonathan.<br \/>\nb. David and his warriors.<br \/>\n2. Before these we may feel at ease.<br \/>\n3. To a real friend we take our sorrows.<br \/>\n4. They know our faults but are still our friend.<br \/>\n5. &#8220;A friend loveth at all times.&#8221; <strong>Proverbs 17:17.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>IV: Jesus the great friend.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.&#8221;<strong> Proverbs 18:24.<\/strong><br \/>\n2. He came to seek and save wicked men.<br \/>\n3. He made friends and showed himself friendly.<br \/>\n4.
