Our nation seeks for refuge.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I: God is our eternal refuge.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Adam and Eve were provided a refuge.<br \/>\n2. Jacob found God was his refuge.<!--more--><br \/>\n3. Moses recommended God: &#8220;The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.&#8221; Deuteronomy 33:27.<br \/>\n4. Cities of refuge were provided in the promised land.<br \/>\n5. God is a refuge for time and eternity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: David sang a song of his refuge.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. A rock, a fortress, and a deliverer. vs. 2<br \/>\n2. A shield, horn of salvation, high tower, a refuge.<br \/>\n3. The refuge of God is safety against:<br \/>\na. Enemies.<br \/>\nb. The waves of death.<br \/>\nc. The sorrows of hell.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: The False Refuges of Men.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. The refuge of the works.<br \/>\n2. The refuge of false religion.<br \/>\n3. I don&#8217;t believe in Hell.<br \/>\n4. I&#8217;m as good as so and so.<br \/>\n5. I&#8217;m better than the hyprocrits.<br \/>\n6. I&#8217;m a church member.<br \/>\n7. Man needs a refuge from his conscious.<\/p>\n<p><strong>None of man&#8217;s refuge will stand the test of time and eternity.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Jesus Christ is the souls eternal refuge.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sam. 2 22:1-19 A refuge is a place of safety, it is a protection against danger.
