The time had come for him to face the wicked King again.<br \/>\n2. The King was searching thru the land for Elijah.<!--more--><br \/>\n3. This could be a dangerous mission.<br \/>\n4. Gods promise was rain after Elijah faced Ahab.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II: Elijah got the Bible wide open in his 1st Message.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. &#8220;Ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord and thou hast followed Baalim.&#8221;<br \/>\n2. Sin was not softpetaled nor was the King given comfort.<br \/>\n3. The old man challenged Ahab to gather the people for a show down.<br \/>\n4. He invited the false prophets to the meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III: His 2nd Message: &#8220;How long halt ye between 2 opionions.&#8221; undecided<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Quit limping from 1 church to another.<br \/>\n2. Quit searching for God in the organizations of man.<br \/>\n3. Get on 1 side or another.<br \/>\n4. &#8220;If the Lord be God, follow him, but if Baal then follow him.&#8221;<br \/>\n5. The fouble minded people said not a word.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV: Elijah faces opposition and choose the Field of battle. (Baals Prophets).<\/strong><br \/>\n1. The false prophets prepared their bullock 1st and call upon Baal.<br \/>\na. They were in a hurry to get the metting started.<br \/>\nb. They spent a half day calling on Baal but to no avail.<br \/>\nc. Elijah taunted them into great effor, even to shedding their own blood.<br \/>\n2. Elijah prepared the broken altar, every stone in place.<br \/>\na. He made a trench about the Altar.<br \/>\nb. He put the wood in order.<br \/>\nc. He cut the bullock in pieces.<br \/>\nd. The cold water brigade were given a chance to stop the revival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>V: &#8220;Hear me O Lord, hear me!&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n1. He could pray for fire after he had set things in order.<br \/>\n2. Elijah was not bothered by a guilty conscience.<br \/>\n3. His neglect and indifference was not there to stop the fire.<br \/>\n4. He had not compromised with a wicked King.<br \/>\n5. Then the fire of the Lord fell. &#8220;There is a sound of abundance of rain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Ahab the wicked King.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2. Elijah the Preacher of God.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3. The Undecided.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>4.
