The Spirit of Christmas.

Do you feel like Christmas? What is the Christmas Spirit?    Luke 2:1-15

I: For the World:
1. Material world moves to a steady hum.
2. Not a Nation goes untouched.
3. Most families are effected.
4. Communist Nations were forced to bring Santa back.

II: The Christmas Spirit of Christ.
1. “For we know the grace of our Lord Jesus sakes he became poor.” Cor. 2 8:9
2. He gave up the glories of Heaven for the poverty of Earth.
3. He gave up the praise of angels for the curses of men.
4. He came to seek and to save.
5. His message was “Fear not.”
6. He brought good tidings to a world tired and discouraged.
7. He brought joy to all people.

III: The World could not Ignore Him.
1. He was the turning point of all time.
2. The highest point of all love.
3. The starting point of all salvation.
4. The center point of all true worship.
5. Before him every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess.

IV: The Christmas is:
1. The spirit of Youth, Vitality, Freshness, Purity, Promise, and Hope.
2. The spirit of Hope, eyes to a better way of life. Hope for those who sit in darkness.
3. The Spirit of Joy and Peace.
4. He puts a new song on our lips.

The Spirit of Christmas is the Spirit of Christ.
