The Manger Divides Eternity

John 1:1-4, 17:1-5    Heb. 13:8,    Luke 2:1-16,    Issiah 40:9-12

I: “In the Beginning.”
1. When darkness covered the deep and the Earth was in Chaos, He was there. Before anything was created, He was there. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
2. Jesus said unto them. “Verily, Verily I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58.
3. “And now O Father, glorify thou me with thine ownself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” John 17:5.
4. “For thou lovest me before the world was.” John 17:24.
5.  “By Him were all things created that are in Heaven, and that are in Earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or demotions or principalities or powers; all things were created by Him and for Him; and He is before all things and by Him all things consist.” Col. 1:16-17.
6. “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things by whom also He made the world.” “I am Alpha and Omega!” Heb. 1:2.

II: That Manger Held the One that Created the World.
1. The baby that was wrapped in swaddling clothes had made the clouds and thick darkness a swaddling band for the sea.
2. The foundations of the Earth were laid by Him.
3. The baby for whom angels sang, had heard the morning stars sing together.
4. The stars that twinkled above Bethlehem were fashioned by Him.
5. Mystery of mysteries that He should come born of a woman and be wrapped in swaddling clothes.

III: The Christ Child in the Eternal Future; By Him will the Destiny of Souls be Sealed.
1. The World will be judged by Him and the sheep divided from the goats.
2. Before Him every knee shall bow and every tongue confess.
3. Power, honor, and glory belong to Him.
4. The redeemed host of Heaven will crown Him King of kings.
5. Mystery of mysteries happened on that night in Bethlehem.
